About these Terms

Get Me Paid is a software product operated by OSTOYA DIGITAL SOLUTION LTD, company number 17290506, a company registered in England and Wales.

Registered office: 32 Mayfly Road, Swaffham, England, PE37 8JF.

These Terms form the agreement for use of the Get Me Paid service. They apply when you create an account, use the application, manage an organisation or start or manage a subscription.

The Privacy Notice explains how personal information is handled. The Pricing page describes the current public plan. Organisation owners and administrators may act for an organisation when managing settings, members and billing.

Terms version: 2026-06-28. Please read these Terms before creating an account or starting a subscription.

Who may use the service

Get Me Paid is intended primarily for people and organisations using it for business purposes, including freelancers, sole traders, contractors, subcontractors, limited companies and small businesses.

You must be legally capable of entering into these Terms. If you accept these Terms for an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to act for it. Account information must be accurate and use of the service must comply with applicable law.

If applicable law treats you as a consumer, nothing in these Terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

Accounts and organisations

Each person should use their own account and protect their login credentials. Tell Get Me Paid through the contact route if you suspect unauthorised access.

Organisations can have owners, administrators and members. Owners and administrators may manage organisation settings and billing where the application permits. Do not invite people unless you have authority to do so.

Actions performed through valid credentials may be treated as authorised, subject to applicable law. Email verification may be required and account recovery uses the supported password-reset flow.

The service

Get Me Paid provides online invoice-management tools.

Features may evolve for product, security, legal, provider or technical reasons. Get Me Paid does not promise that every feature will remain unchanged or that every browser or device will support every feature.

Implemented service scope

  • customer records
  • invoice creation, editing and server-side invoice numbering
  • VAT calculation, CIS deduction support and user-selected reverse-charge treatment
  • branded PDF invoices and invoice email delivery
  • payment status tracking and reminders
  • business settings, payment settings, logo and branding
  • PWA or browser installation where supported
  • subscription management through Billing and Stripe-supported flows

Invoice, tax and professional responsibility

Get Me Paid provides invoicing tools. It does not provide accounting, tax or legal advice.

You decide whether VAT, CIS or domestic reverse charge treatment applies, select rates and classifications, enter invoice content and check legal requirements. Software calculations depend on the information entered, so verify invoices before sending them.

Official guidance or professional advice may be required. Get Me Paid does not submit VAT returns, CIS returns or deductions to HMRC.

Customer and invoice-recipient data

You must have authority and a lawful reason to enter customer and invoice-recipient information. You are responsible for your own privacy notices, keeping data accurate and avoiding unlawful or unnecessary sensitive information.

Get Me Paid processes this data to provide the service, including PDF generation, email delivery, reminders, storage, support and security. The Privacy Notice explains personal-data handling. Do not use invoice email features for unsolicited marketing.

User content and licence

You retain rights in business, customer, invoice, logo and other submitted content. You grant Get Me Paid the limited permission needed to host, process, reproduce, generate PDFs, send emails, back up and display that content to operate, secure and administer the service and meet legal obligations.

This permission lasts only as reasonably needed for those purposes. You confirm you have rights to upload logos and other content. Get Me Paid may remove or restrict content that appears unlawful, infringing or harmful.

Subscription and free trial

The current public plan is GetMePaid: £4.99 per month after a 30-day free trial.

Registration alone does not start the trial. Your trial starts when your organisation workspace is created, no payment card is required for the app trial, and subscribing through Stripe Checkout starts the paid monthly subscription. The subscription renews monthly and applicable tax treatment is shown during checkout where configured. Only owners and administrators can manage organisation billing. One public monthly plan currently exists.

You are not charged automatically when the 30-day no-card trial ends. To continue creating and sending invoices, you must actively choose to subscribe through Stripe Checkout.

Current checkout sequence

  • Create an account.
  • Complete organisation setup.
  • Create your organisation workspace to start the no-card trial.
  • Open Billing and use Stripe Checkout only if you choose to subscribe.
  • Use the 30-day app trial without adding a payment card.
  • After the trial, subscribe through Stripe Checkout to continue creating and sending invoices at £4.99 per month.

Billing, cancellation, renewal and refunds

Stripe handles subscription checkout and supported payment-method management. Cancellation is managed through Billing and supported Stripe Customer Portal flows. Cancellation may be scheduled for period end, paid access continues to the relevant end date, and future renewals stop after effective cancellation.

Cancel before the next billing date to avoid renewal. Records may remain available in restricted or read-only mode after the trial expires or paid access ends; existing data is not deleted merely because the trial expires, cancellation does not mean immediate deletion, and account closure is separate from subscription cancellation.

Payment failure may trigger a short configurable grace period. Paid features may be restricted after that grace period. Chargebacks do not automatically terminate underlying obligations. Refund rights depend on applicable law and circumstances; these Terms do not publish a blanket non-refundable rule.

Depending on your status and circumstances, applicable law may provide cancellation or other statutory rights in addition to the contractual cancellation options described here. Nothing in these Terms limits statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Price and Terms changes

The current price appears on Pricing and during checkout. Price changes should be communicated before taking effect, and material Terms changes should be communicated reasonably and normally apply prospectively. Where appropriate, users may cancel before an adverse subscription change takes effect. The last-updated date and version will change when these Terms change.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to

  • break the law, issue fraudulent invoices or keep false or misleading records
  • access accounts, organisations or systems without authority
  • share accounts outside authorised organisation use
  • upload malware or interfere with service operation
  • send abusive automated traffic, scrape without authority or bypass plan/access restrictions
  • perform security testing without permission except where protected by law
  • infringe rights, impersonate others, spam recipients or upload content without authority

Email delivery and invoice alerts

You are responsible for recipient-address accuracy. Delivery depends on external mail systems, so Get Me Paid cannot guarantee delivery, inbox placement, opening or that a sent status proves the recipient read an invoice.

The current reminder workflow sends due-soon and overdue browser push alerts to eligible organisation users who have enabled notifications. It does not send automatic debt-chasing emails to invoice recipients. You remain responsible for following up invoices; Get Me Paid does not provide debt collection.

Third-party services

The service depends on third parties including Stripe, transactional email services, optional custom SMTP, optional Google and Microsoft integrations, browser push services, and hosting, database and storage providers.

Third-party services have their own terms and privacy practices. External interruptions may affect functionality. If you configure an integration, you are responsible for having authority to connect it. Get Me Paid does not control third-party services, but nothing in these Terms disclaims responsibility where the law prevents that.

Intellectual property

Get Me Paid software, branding, interface and documentation remain owned or licensed by the operator. During permitted access, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service.

User and customer content remains yours or your licensors'. Feedback may be used to improve the service without revealing confidential information. You must not copy, resell or create unauthorised derivative services.

Confidentiality

Each party should protect non-public confidential information received through the relationship. Disclosure is allowed to personnel and providers who need it, where legally required, where already public through no breach, or where independently known.

Service availability, maintenance and changes

The service is provided online. Maintenance, updates and outages may occur, and uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. Reasonable efforts are made to maintain the service.

Features may be changed for security, legal, technical or product reasons. Material removal affecting paid use should be handled fairly. Keep your own copies of important business records where appropriate.

Suspension and termination

Get Me Paid may proportionately suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, security risk, unlawful use, harm to others or the service, legal or regulatory requirement, fraudulent activity or persistent abuse.

Notice will be given where reasonably practicable, and remediable breaches may have an opportunity to be fixed where appropriate. Immediate action may be needed for urgent security or legal risks. Access may move to restricted or read-only behaviour where supported.

Account closure

To request account or organisation closure, contact Get Me Paid. Subscription cancellation and account closure are separate. Closure may require owner or administrator authority.

Records may be retained where required for security, billing, disputes, backups or law. The Privacy Notice explains personal-data handling. Self-service account deletion and organisation deletion are not described as supported by these Terms.

Disclaimers

Get Me Paid is an invoicing tool, not professional advice. User-entered data affects output. The service does not guarantee that an invoice will be paid, that email will reach a recipient, that software meets every specialised requirement, or that public guidance will remain unchanged.

Liability and statutory rights

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful. This includes, where applicable, death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, statutory consumer rights and other non-excludable liability.

Get Me Paid is not responsible for losses caused solely by inaccurate data entered by you, unauthorised use caused by failure to protect credentials, third-party services outside reasonable control, decisions made without checking professional advice, or indirect business consequences that were not reasonably foreseeable. No contractual monetary liability cap is stated in these Terms.

Events outside reasonable control

Get Me Paid is not responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside reasonable control, such as major provider outages, network failures, security incidents affecting third parties, industrial action, legal restrictions or emergencies. This does not excuse payment already due, data-protection obligations, failures that could reasonably have been prevented, or statutory duties.

Transfer of the agreement

The operator may transfer the agreement as part of a genuine business reorganisation or sale where user rights are not materially reduced. You may not transfer accounts or agreements without permission, except where law requires otherwise.

No waiver, severability and entire agreement

Delay in enforcing these Terms is not a permanent waiver. If one clause is invalid, the remaining clauses continue where legally possible.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Notice, Cookies and Device Storage Notice, Pricing information and any terms shown during subscription checkout, form the contractual information for the service, subject to rights and statements that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Questions and disputes

If there is a problem, please contact Get Me Paid first at legal@ostoya.io so the issue can be reviewed.

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising from them are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory rights that apply. The courts of Courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction where permitted by law.
